EuroAfrica-ICT Cooperation Forum
Lisbon, Portugal, 28-29th November 2012

This major event, organised by the EuroAfrica-P8 Partnership in the framework of the EuroAfrica-ICT Initiative and with the support of the National Science Foundation (FCT) of Portugal, is the fifth of a series of very successful conferences organised by the EuroAfrica-ICT Initiative under the aegis of the European and the African Union Commissions (EC & AUC).

The “2012 Africa-EU Cooperation Forum on ICT” will be an event filled with discussions and debates, networking opportunities and knowledge sharing among key stakeholders in the field and policymakers coming from all over Europe and Africa. The Conference will represent a unique opportunity for all parties interested in the ICT domain to increase the visibility and impact of their activities, to network and expand their knowledge.

This event will see the European launch of the UbuntuNet network, funded by AfricaConnect, as well as a workshop led by AfricaConnect with the UbuntuNet Alliance and one led by WACREN, the West and Central African Research and Education Network.
